
Pasta alla Gorgonzola (Gorgonzola Pasta)

400g pasta (penne, rigatoni, or spaghetti)

Salted water for boiling
For the sauce:
3. 150g Gorgonzola cheese (crumbled)
4. 200ml heavy cream
5. 2 tbsp unsalted butter
6. 1 garlic clove, minced
7. Salt and pepper to taste
8. Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Cook the pasta:
Boil pasta in salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water. -
Make the sauce:
In a pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in the Gorgonzola cheese and let it melt, then pour in the cream. Stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste. -
Combine pasta and sauce:
Add the cooked pasta to the pan, tossing it in the sauce. If needed, add a little pasta water to adjust the sauce’s consistency. -
Serve:
Garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
