New York Strip Steak

This New York Strip Steak recipe delivers a rich, beefy flavor with a beautiful crust and tender center. A simple yet elegant dish perfect for date nights, celebrations, or any steak lover’s craving.


Ingredients:

  1. 1 New York Strip Steak (10–14 oz, about 1 inch thick)

  2. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  3. Salt, to taste

  4. Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  5. 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

  6. 2 cloves garlic, smashed

  7. 2 sprigs fresh thyme or rosemary


Instructions:

  1. Let it rest: Remove steak from the fridge and bring it to room temperature for 30 minutes.

  2. Season generously: Pat dry, then season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  3. Preheat pan: Heat a cast-iron skillet over high heat until hot.
